Shipping
How long will my order take to make?
Everything at Borderline Tacky is handmade to order, so wait times can vary. But have a look at the announcement banner at the top of the page, where I'm always updating lead times. If you have a date you need your outfit for, drop me a message and I'll try my best to get it to you in time. P.S. If you keep your eye on the Borderline Tacky Instagram stories, you'll probably see some behind the scenes snippets of your order being made 👀
How will my UK order be sent?
All UK clothing orders are sent using Royal Mail. The price of your shipping depends on the weight of your order and the speed of delivery you choose. There's either: first class signed for, second class signed for or next day delivery. No matter which one you choose it'll need a signature, because I want your order to get to you safe and sound.
How can I track my order?
After I've shipped your banging new outfit, you'll get a shipping confirmation email. This will have your tracking info inside, so you can check the delivery status as many times as you like. I won't judge you girl.
I'm international, can I join the party?
Hell yes, we're worldwide here girl. I use Royal Mail's International Tracked and Signed service and your shipping costs are calculated at the checkout, depending where in the world you are and the weight of your order. Your order should take around 14 working days to arrive, but this can vary. Depending on which country you're in, you may be asked to pay for customs, taxes or import duties, which unfortunately must be covered by you.
Returns
Do you offer returns?
As everything is made to order, at the moment I can't accept returns - sorry angel. I can offer an exchange for a different size or different item though. If this is the case, please email me within 7 working days with your order number. Again, as I'm a small brand, you're responsible for the postage costs. Once I've received your item(s) back, they'll be reviewed to make sure they're unworn and in brand new condition.
Can I exchange my custom order?
At the minute, I can't offer exchanges as your custom measurements are unique to you. For help on sizing before you order, take a look at the Size Guide page. Your happiness is my priority, so if your order is faulty, please email me and I will arrange an exchange.

Who makes my order?
All orders are handmade in the North East, either by myself or Alex - the most wonderful seamstress!
My size doesn't match your size guide, how can I give custom measurements?
Here at Borderline Tacky I want everyone to be included. So if you have custom measurements, select 'Custom Size' from the drop down menu on the product page and enter them on the cart page.
How do I measure myself?
There's a section on the Size Guide page to help with this. If you're still unsure, drop me a message and I can help you.
Why are you more expensive than fast fashion brands?
Because Borderline Tacky is not fast fashion. Everything is designed and handmade with love in North East England, and the fabrics we use are sourced from UK suppliers. Therefore we simply can’t compete with fast fashion prices.
Will my outfit make me feel like a queen?
Hell yes. And I want to see it, so don't forget to tag @borderlinetacky in your pictures - they literally make my day.
